The Nature Center offers special seasonal programs during the December, February and April school vacations for students in K through Grade 5.  Programs are held on selected weekdays from 9 am to noon.

Winter Wonderers

9 am – 12 pm

 Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Let’s go walking in a winter wonderland with Winter Wonderers!  Explore the science of snow and ice.  Follow the signs wildlife has left behind. If the weather conditions permit, participants will get a taste of a sweet New England tradition—maple sugaring!

Each day will be full of exploration and winter adventure with hands-on activities, guided hikes, and more.

Single Day Pricing: $50 Members/day; $60 Non-members/day

Spring Fever!

How do animals know it’s spring? Come discover the signs of the season during a week of fun-filled mornings exploring the forest, field, and pond. From budding trees to frog eggs, we’ll search for the plants and animals that tell us spring has begun.
