Scout Programs

Cub Scout & Scout BSA Programs at the Nature Center

Roaring Brook Nature Center offers a wide variety of programs that can take place either at the center or at your troop meetings.

The Nature Center has a small interpretive building and 5 miles of hiking trails on about 160 acres of a state-owned wildlife preserve. The Nature Center also offers general seasonal walks or walks with a particular focus (for example birds, reptiles, etc.).

Roaring Brook Nature Center is also a great place to fulfill Community Service Projects, including Eagle Scout Badge requirements!

Cub Scout groups wishing to work toward the Cub Scout World Conservation Award or Outdoor Activity Award may fulfill requirements and/or do service projects at the Nature Center.

Scout programs are offered on weekdays afternoons and Saturdays.

Please call the Nature Center to schedule a program at (860) 693-0263
