Accessibility Statement

The Children’s Museum Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. This includes The Children’s Museum and Preschool, Roaring Brook Nature Center, and our online ticketing and purchase platform. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards across our digital properties.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities and outline three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Children’s Museum Group is making ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of our websites and services in the belief that it is our collective responsibility to ensure inclusive, accessible, and unhindered use for all individuals, including those with disabilities.

We aim to make all pages and content on the following websites accessible:
https://www.thechildrensmuseumct.org
https://www.roaringbrook.org
https://purchase.thechildrensmuseumct.org

Some content may not yet fully meet the highest accessibility standards. This may be due to challenges in identifying or implementing the most appropriate technological solutions.

We may revise this Accessibility Statement periodically to reflect improvements or changes to our accessibility practices.

Feedback

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of The Children’s Museum Group’s websites. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please let us know:
